Ok. So I love y'all too much to take a real break. I have decided that I'm not going to force posts, so they will most likely be pretty sporadic. But to say I'm taking a lot of time off? I just can't keep to that.
I'm sure you're all dying to know my moving date. Casey and Carrie both are, since they've been recruited to help. And Elle Charlie needs to know when to come and decorate (because that girl has style!!)!! So I must keep you in the loop, right?
And I had already started this before I decided I was overwhelmed, so it's being posted...
Spin Cycle, Sprite's Keeper Style!!!! A little apology to my dear friend, Jen. We've had a bit of a "Who's first to comment battle" and I've been winning the past few days... well sort of. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one keeping score.
Anyways, here we go:
To my friends in Blogland,
The New Year started on a roll,
I met with my cousins to have fun and bowl! (They held the countdown at 6. Obviously, it was a late night.)
And again the color black, I wore. (No, I'm not a cynic, why do you ask?)
In March I traveled for work, how fun,
I had recruited a lot when the day was done. (Cause that's my job.)
April flew by, as so many do,
I started this blog, my lifeline, woo hoo! (Little did I know how much I would love the blog world.)
May started the summer off right,
The days became longer and I loved the daylight. (Summer is too short here in Ohio.)
June was vacation, oh how nice and grand,
We spent each day watching the ocean, enjoying the sand. (Can't wait for this year! Surfside Beach, SC. You're all invited!!)
July was hot, I wore my capris,
We treasured the moments that came with a breeze. (I'd kill for that heat today. And thank goodness for casual attire at work!)
In August, M and I went to DC.
And my sister's fiance got down on one knee!! (That's kind of when he became the fiance.)
September, my birthday, the best day of the year,
So only in my own mind, but it's still a day of cheer. (And yet I had to work this year! Woo hoo- another rhyme!)
October flew by, the candy was grand
But I'm a member of Hasay, so I only had one hand (full, at a time).
November is the month of the crazy,
No more time to be lazy!!
Nablopomo is complete,
My sister had her shower and the gifts were sweet!
December brings moving and change,
I love the busyness though at times life seems strange.
Looking on to 2009,
I know my year will be divine.
I've made so many friends out here,
Hoping for more laughs in the coming year!!
